Robbins High Performance Hardwood Flooring

Installation

Install Robbins® High Performance Hardwood over concrete, wood or existing vinyl floors, on any level of your home. Choose traditional full-spread adhesive installation, or float interlocking planks over the subfloor – so easy you can do-it-yourself!
  1. Inspect and prepare subfloor, test for concrete moisture if installing over concrete.
  2. Remove existing base and shoe molding.
  3. Open several cartons of material to ensure color and shade mix.
  4. Install hardwood perpendicular to floor joists. Use the longest, straightest boards first.
  5. Allow for expansion.
  6. Floating Installation – Install hardwood over recommended underlayment (see below) and use Robbins SoundSeal or Bruce EverSeal to glue the hardwood joints.
  7. Installs with Armstrong™ ProConnect™, Hartco®57 urethane or Armstrong EverLAST™ Premium urethane adhesive.
